Opera Care will remain fully operational throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, supporting our customers and the care sector with vital equipment throughout. As restrictions change and government guidance evolves we will continue to adapt our procedures to remain operating safely and efficiently.
How We’re Continuing to Support You
We're working hard to provide an uninterrupted service to all of our customers, existing and new. In order to achieve this a full and thorough risk assessment across our operations has been carried out and we've set a number of actions in place.
Stock Availability and Rapid Delivery
We understand there is the potential for bed and mattress supply issues and availability in the current market. We are fully operational and have put in measures carry stock throughout our UK distribution hubs in order to supply care beds and mattresses on next day delivery terms, ensuring you have quick access to essential care equipment.
Infection Risk Mitigation
The delivery and installation of care equipment is an essential service and our staff, crews and sub-contractors will be following strict procedures that reduce the risk of spreading infection. Measures include:
- Distancing, sanitisation and visual measures throughout our offices and warehouses
- Delivery crews are provided with and instructed to use personal protective equipment including face masks, gloves and sanitiser
- Where a product is installed, customers are asked to ensure the room of installation facilitates distancing and the crew are left alone to carry out the installation
- Staff and customers are advised to follow Government and NHS guidance at all times.
Due to the heightened risk to care home residents during the COVID-19 outbreak, we're implementing an option of Non-Contact Delivery.
Our delivery team will place your goods outside of your premises for your maintenance teams, staff or family members to collect, with the only requirement a signature of receipt.
Engineer Phone Support
Where it's not permissible for engineers to enter your care home or building, our team of support engineers are available to troubleshoot with you over the phone if you're having any product related issues.
If you do require any replacement parts, these can be shipped with next day delivery supported by our engineer phone advice.
Video Meetings via Skype
During the outbreak we're adapting our approach to customer meetings, moving away from face to face visits and instead carrying out video call meetings via Skype. Video meetings not only eliminate the risk of infection but are time efficient and allow us to continue to support you during these difficult times.
