What size are these beds?
There are different widths when it comes to hospital beds but the most common is a 3ft/90cm single width. In the Opera range, size options include 3ft single, 3ft6 wide single, 4ft small double and 6ft super king. For more information read our blog on the different sizes of hospital beds.
Can I install a hospital bed upstairs?
The majority of our beds are able to be installed upstairs as they arrive in sections which can be carried and manouvered easily. Our installation crews are fully trained to safely and efficiently install your bed in your room of choice. For larger hospital beds such as our Solo Bed in 4ft we recommend downstairs installation due to their additional widths and weight.
If you are ever unsure whether a medical bed is able to be installed upstairs feel free to get in touch with us before installation. You can also send us any images/dimensions before our installers visit.
Do you offer beds with side rails?
Yes, within our range we have hospital beds with and without side rails, designed for user safety in the prevention of falls from the bed. Our range of beds with side rails can be found here.
How quickly can I get an Opera hospital bed?
We can deliver your hospital bed quickly, there are two options:
1. Next day delivery by courier when you order by 3pm Monday to Friday. This option requires you to assemble the bed.
2. Our 2-man home installation service is 4-7 working days. Our expert crews will bring your bed, install it in the room of your choice, demonstrate the bed, and take away all packaging. They can also remove your old/existing bed on request.
For urgent requirements such as time-sensitive hospital discharges, we are able to do same-day deliveries and installations via a dedicated van delivery. Please call our team on 0333 222 8584 to check availability.
How much should a hospital bed for home cost?
