Here at Opera we offer a range of beds and accessories to suit different care and lifestyle needs. So how are the beds different? Or do our electric beds all do the same thing? This useful guide will walk you through the Opera range to point you in the right direction.

Who are they for?

Our adjustable beds are designed to support your body and to help you create the perfect sleeping position to aid comfort and help relieve aches and pains. These beds are suitable for those that want a great nights sleep and possibly need some help sitting up in bed. The elevated foot rest is also good for improving circulation.

Choices?

  • The Adjustable Smart Base options are exactly that, an adjustable base of your choosing without a stylish surround.
  • The Flyte, Hagen and Edel are all adjustable beds with different surround options. Choose your preferred model, design and adjustable base option.

What do they do?

Each of our adjustable smart bases are designed using comfort technology and feature the following:

Profiling care beds

 Who are they for?

Our profiling care beds are suitable for those living in a care home or require care at home. Profiling beds are designed to accommodate nursing care.

Choices?

This collection features beds that are similar to hospital style beds, built for stability, comfort and that are function for caring on the bed. There is a range of different design features to suit different user needs.

  • Wood and Upholstery options
  • Different height ranges
  • Side rails 
  • Footboard options

What do they do?

  • Floor Beds - A bed that will lower as close to the floor as possible and particularly suited to users with a high risk of falls, such as those with dementia.
  • All-in-One Height Beds - A bed that will lower to ease getting in and out, that will also go up to full nursing height for giving care on the bed.
  • Bariatric Beds - Designed for bariatric or plus size users.
  • Dual Beds - A care bed designed for two people who want to stay together.

Rotating chair beds

 

 Who are they for?

The RotoBed® is suited for users with limited mobility that want to remain as independent as possible.

Choices?

We offer a choice of different head/footboard options and fabric colours on all of our RotoBed® products. Size options include, 3ft, 3ft 6 and the RotoBed® Change Dual in 6ft, suited to couples who want to stay together.

What do they do?

A rotating chair bed is a bed that can adjust from a lying position to a chair position to ease access for the user. The RotoBed® is designed to provide smooth movement while the bed is in motion, creating a seamless experience for the user.
