Every day we work hard to improve the lives of individuals in care, but as a company our focus extends further than our valued customers. We are proud to support a selection of charities to help them continue to provide their fantastic work in society.

Care Workers Charity
The Care Workers Charity play a vital role in supporting the carers in our society, those who provide essential care to people in need. The charity provides grants to carers in crisis and have been exceptionally stretched by the impacts of Covid-19 due to the new requirement for carers to self-isolate. Opera have provided cash donations to help the Care Workers Charity facilitate their important work.
Rapid Relief Team
The Rapid Relief Team (RRT) is a charitable organisation providing day-to-day support to local communities as well as fast action relief to emergency and support services in times of crisis. The RRT have been on hand during many of the UK’s disasters in recent years, including the Grenfell tower fire in 2017 and the South Yorkshire floods in 2019.
Emmaus helps and supports people out of homelessness by providing meaningful work, a home and a sense of belonging that can’t be underestimated.
Opera have provided stock donations to the Hull & East Rising centre to help with fundraising.
British Heart Foundation
BHF are working towards a world free from the feart of heart and circulatory disease. Since they were founded, deaths from heart and circulatory diseases have been cut by more than half – but there is a long way to go.
Opera have provided stock donations to the Hull Furniture & Electrical Store to support their fundraising efforts.
Raffle Prize Donations for Local Care Homes
Care homes all over the country work incredibly hard to provide positive experiences for their residents, usually on very tight budgets. We’re often impressed by the imaginative fundraising activities that carers and support staff create in order to be able to provide additional activities.
We set aside a budget allowance to support the fundraising activities of care homes in the East Yorkshire region in the form of donated raffle prizes.
Email email@example.com if your care home is running a fundraiser and are looking for support.
