BHF are working towards a world free from the feart of heart and circulatory disease. Since they were founded, deaths from heart and circulatory diseases have been cut by more than half – but there is a long way to go.
Opera have provided stock donations to the Hull Furniture & Electrical Store to support their fundraising efforts.
Mind
We completed our very own Miles for Mind challenge taking on the Yorkshire 3 peaks in under 12 hours. Raising over £3,000 our team completed the challenge to support people facing mental health issues.
Alzheimer's Charity
Collectively cycling an impressive 208 miles within 3 hours—our team took on the distance from Hull to our southern hub in High Wycombe. Their efforts supported the Alzheimer's Society Charity, making a meaningful contribution to those affected by dementia.
Emmaus Hull & East Riding
Emmaus helps and supports people out of homelessness by providing meaningful work, a home and a sense of belonging that can’t be underestimated.
Opera have provided stock donations to the Hull & East Rising centre to help with fundraising.
Dove House Hospice
Dove House Hospice have been caring for people in Hull for almost 40 years. They provide exceptional end of life care, therapy for those with life limiting illnesses and bereavement support for grieving family and friends. Our Opera team walked an astounding 837 miles throughout June, equivalent to the length of the country. Their hard work raised vital funds for Dove House Hospice, providing care and comfort to those in need.
WISHH Charity
Opera team members showcased their creativity by developing a Hull-themed children's activity book. The proceeds will go towards a new MRI distraction device for the WISHH Charity (Working Independently to Support Hull Hospitals), helping to create a better hospital experience for young patients.
