Returns Policy
At Opera Beds, we want to make sure your new bed is suitable for your needs and you are happy with your purchase.
If for any reason you’re not entirely satisfied, we’re here to help. Below, you’ll find all the details you need about our returns process.
We understand that offer a 14-Day Returns Policy on all our products.
To qualify for a return:
- Products must be unused, unopened, and in their original packaging
- Installed products are not eligible for return
- Custom upholstered items or those made with your own fabric/material are not refundable, unless there’s a defect.
How to initiate a return:
Simply get in touch with our Customer Care team within 14 days of the invoice date. Please keep in mind:
- There will be a charge for collection of the goods from your home
- Original carriage and installation costs are non-refundable
If you’re outside the 14-day window, we may still be able to accept your return if your items are:
- Unused, and in original packaging
- Unpackaged products
This will however be at the advisors discretion and a 20% restocking fee will apply.
Please reach out to our team to discuss your return options.
We offer a 10-Day Home Trial on all our beds and mattresses. If the product isn’t quite right for you, you can either exchange it or receive a refund.
Trial Details:
- The trial period starts the moment your bed or mattress is delivered or installed
- Mattresses must be purchased with a mattress protector for the trial to be valid
- Items must be returned in excellent condition, and they will be inspected when we receive them
- £185 for a bed and mattress return
- £60 for a mattress-only return
If you have any questions or would like more details, our advisors are here to help.
Our custom upholstered products are bespoke and made to order, therefore unfortunately non-refundable unless there’s a manufacturing defect.
This includes any items made with your own supplied fabric.
Once a product has been installed, it’s no longer covered by the 14-Day Returns Policy.
If you have a product currently installed, please contact our team to discuss your options.
While we don't have a specific buy-back scheme, there are still a few options when parting with your Opera Bed:
- Sell it Locally: You can list your bed on online marketplaces like Gumtree, Facebook Marketplace, or eBay, perfect for reaching someone nearby who could benefit from it
- Reach Out to Care Homes or Mobility Suppliers: Some care homes or mobility equipment retailers may be interested in gently used beds. It's always worth checking with them
- Donate to a Charity: If you're not looking to sell, consider donating your bed to a charity or local care facility. Many charities, such as the British Heart Foundation, even offer free collection services for large items like beds
