All our mattresses are sold separately due to each person having different pressure care needs and preferred firmness.
Yes, the Opera® Solo SafeSide Profiling Bed comes with full-length mesh side rails either side of the bed.
If a handle or loop is needed at the side of the bed to assist with getting in and out then we can supply the bed with a grab rail which can fit on either side of the bed in the desired position.
The mesh side rails can only be operated by somebody outside of the bed, they can either be left in the drop down position to the side of the bed or in the raised position to prevent someone from falling out of bed.
In the event of your electric bed breaking down, call 0333 222 8584 and speak with our in-house product support team who will go through the issue with you and try to troubleshoot over the phone. If the issue requires an engineer visit then this can be arranged within 24-48 hours.
All our profiling and adjustable beds are covered by a 3-year warranty which includes 3 years parts and 1-year labour cover. We offer two upgrade plans (read more) if you would like to buy additional cover for your Opera bed.
The Opera® Solo SafeSide Profiling Bed is available with or without side rails. As the bed lowers to a low height, some users do not require the side rails. When not in use, the side rails drop down out of the way and act as a mesh side to the bed.
The Opera® Solo SafeSide Profiling Bed is available in a Small Double width. However, it is not available any bigger and the reason for this is if the user requires on bed nursing by carers outside of the bed, this width would put a strain on the carers backs having to reach over.
