Yes, The Opera Impulse Hybrid Mattress can be purchased indivudaly as a standalone pressure care mattress for very high risk users. It can also be used with the pump when additional firmess is required and users benefit from a mattress that provides both static and dynamic pressure care.
All of our pressure care mattresses are suitable for use on any type of bed, including profiling care beds and adjustable beds.
The cover is a PU cover and is breathable, this prevents the user from sweating and the build up of heat.

Those who are classified as very high risk will most likely experienced a pressure sore previously and is not uncommon for them to develop. Examples of people within the very high risk category are more likely to have restricted mobility, damaged and vulnerable skin.
